Japanese Apple iPhone TV Ad
I don't know whether this is a real ad or not. And I don't speak Japanese. But I find something compelling about the pacing of this ad and the music.

Submitted by Corey Rollins on Mon, 11/03/2008 - 11:53.Well i'm pretty new to Japanese still and it took me at least 20 views to put it all together but the following text seems to be right.
They are calling the dog DAD (oto_san). The dogs name is Oto and the lady (the mom / wife) calling at the end is the crazy / random reveal that he dog may actually be DAD.
I also think it's trying to play off the phrase "You can't teach an old Dog new tricks". The dad is not only using an iPhone but he's reading a Manga (comic book) on it. Perhaps they are trying to show everyone can use the phone.
Very odd commercial LOL.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong if someone else can speak Japanese.
Couple: It's good to be home! (We're home)
Dog: !!! (gets startled)
Girl: What are you doing, Dad?.....something is weird here.
Dog/Dad: Welcome home (back home)... ("O-kaeri")
Girl: OH! An iPhone!?!? Let me see for a second!(Choto Misaite!)
Guy: What's this? (Nani kore?)
Girl: *looking at phone* Dad, you're reading Manga?!... (comics)
Dog/Dad: Don't get fingerprints (shimon) all over my phone!
Girl: *still looking at phone* ...Since when!? (refering to how long he's been into comics)
Dog/Dad: Sure! Why not! just what I wanted (being sarcastic referring to finger prints and being caught)
*phone rings*
Girl: Moms calling.
Mom: Dad (Husband), are you hiding something from me?
Dog/Dad: No! No!
Mom: Why are you getting upset?
Dog/Dad: Why are you focusing on that?! (calling me out / suspecting)
Mom: Womans Intuition....[onna(woman) kan(intuition suspecting)]

It's a white Akita Inu!

Inu = dog in Japanese :)
Akitas are a husky dog that originates from Japan. Typically they are not full white, but have light brown or black patches on them like a traditional husky.
