Saint Patrick's Day - Corona Beer Ad (Single Page)

NOTE! Make sure you check out the TWO PAGE VERSION of this ad also hosted on AdHack!...moving on...
Corona! The first beer you think of during Saint Patrick's Day right?! Right?!
That's what I thought....not so much. In this one page version of my Saint Patrick's Day ad we get right to the point.
A lot of brands change their look to match the season, which is fine but some times it's great to just stick to what you know best. Corona often does this in it's advertisement and I think it works for them.
Just because it's not Christmas doesn't mean you can't spread joy, and just because it's Saint Patrick's Day doesn't mean you can't have a Corona!
This ad is made from 5 different photos. One of the guys feet, a nicer post card looking beach, a picture of the beer bottle, one of the sky and one of the shamrock. All were found using simple google.ca image search, and the only program used to manipulate the photos was Adobe Photoshop CS2.

You are perfectly right,

Green beer!

Also i thought it took away from "miles away from ordinary." If it was green, it wouldn't be very different from the other St Patty's brews!
Green beer?
Submitted by James Sherrett on Wed, 07/16/2008 - 17:54.I don't like the idea of green Corona beer. I associate green beer with bad draft that only appears on St. Patrick's Day. I like the subtlety of the shamrock in the clouds to distinguish this ad from other Corona ads.
