Hero Time

This ad was a concept we floated for one of our non-profit clients last year. We were playing with the idea of the "local hero" in this spot. You know, the phone booth--change into the costume and all--what else would you use these things for nowadays?

The BC Achievement Foundation has a very cool award program to recognize people around the province who make a difference in their communities. Winners have ranged from VANOC execs to the person who has been making sandwiches for the last 20 years in the local homeless shelter to the entire community of Hartley Bay (for their response to the sinking of Queen of the North). This ad just needed a simple idea and a bit of stock photography, and bingo. As usual, this one was built with the inimitable Kiley Turner.
